Venkat Varadarajan leads the Cloud and Digital business for Intel in India. He is responsible overall strategy and execution for Intel’s cloud business India -that spans across eCommerce, Mobile Payments and local cloud providers. In this capacity, he helps the customers achieve digital transformation that includes hybrid cloud, IT transformation and AI.
Prior to Intel, Venkat has served companies like HP Enterprise, Mahindra Satyam and FIS -across North America and India. He led banking business for Mahindra Satyam in the US and led many large transformational deals. In a career spanning more than 23 years Venkat has excelled in various roles like Business Development, IT consulting and IT delivery. He has served customers in USA, Caribbean, Asia Pacific and India.
He has an MBA from Indian School of Business, PG courses from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and an Engineering Degree from University of Madras. His hobbies include reading / writing on Indian history, macroeconomics and occasional hiking trips.
