Abhay Kumar Jha

Abhay is a specialised data scientist with Masters’ in Marketing & IT. He has also pursued Big Data Analytics Management Development Programme at Indian Institute of Calcutta (IIM-C). He has worked in data analytics industry for last 10 years for world’s leading BFSI clients across US, APAC, Australia & India enabling the business through analytical solutions.
He is currently heading the Analytics team at Indiabulls Consumer Finance Limited managing analytical support across the consumer lending business. Prior to this, he was working as Vice-President for Analytics team at Yes Bank. He has been instrumental in providing data driven strategy to policy, underwriting, product and risk team. He has been one of the pivotal members in implementation of Big Data in the organization.
An avid problem solver,with deep understanding of advanced analytical solutions like Machine Learning, Neural Networks, NLP and Artificial Intelligence. He has expertise in analytical programming languages/tools like R, Python, SAS, SPARK and Tableau. Apart from work, he has attended many conferences/awards like CDAO (Chief Data Analytics Officers Conference) at Singapore, CYPHER, IBA Conference, Qualtech etc. He has won multiple awards at various events like CYPHER – Best Data Science award 2016, Qualtech Awards for Innovation 2016 &17, and finalists at many events.
