Alok Bajpai is holding the role of Managing Director for India with NTT Global Data Centers, in addition to his Global role as Head of Finance Operations. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at NTT Global Data Centers & Cloud Infrastructure India. With over 25 years of experience in various leadership roles globally, Alok has achieved numerous key milestones in his career.
Alok is a Chartered Accountant from India, a CPA from Colorado USA, and holds an MBA from Manchester Business School. He has been recognized multiple times, including being a four-time winner of the CFO100 Roll of Honour and being named the Most Influential CFO by CIMA.
Alok’s expertise spans corporate finance, legal functions, fund management, financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and treasury management. His career includes significant roles such as Country Head for the Nigerian operations of a Belgian seafood processing and export company and a similar role in West Coast of Canada, a little over four years, where he led companies to substantial growth in production capacity and revenue.
Upon returning to India in 2004, Alok led the global accounts team at Infosys before being selected by a private equity firm to serve as Global CFO for a Nasdaq-listed IT services company. He played a pivotal role in transforming the company from negative EBITDA to industry-par margins, leading to its sale at a 5x valuation. Alok has also held CFO positions at CSS Corp, Intelligroup, and Aditi Technologies, contributing to strategic turnarounds and significant growth.
Alok’s global experience across North America, Africa, and India, along with his work in diverse industries and cultures, has enriched his professional and personal perspective. He has enjoyed the learnings from his international exposure and the challenges he successfully converted into opportunities. This, he believes, has been the driving force in making him a well-rounded professional with the perspective and acumen to appreciate and solve problems more holistically.
Alok is a regular invitee as a speaker and panelist at various CxO conferences and management institutes. In his free time, Alok enjoys traveling, networking, and sports. He is an enthusiast of tennis, badminton, and golf.
