Gitali Halder is Senior Analytics Director, APAC at Essence, a global data and
measurement-driven media agency which is part of GroupM. In her role, she establishes
advanced analytics solutions and insights to deliver value and solve clients’ business
challenges.
With over 12 years of experience, Gitali was most recently Regional Data Science Lead,
Enterprise Service, for the Americas Region at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Prior to that,
she held analyst positions at JPMorgan Chase, Adventity, and Fractal Analytics in India.
With established expertise in analytics, she comes with a proven track record of applying
new technology, tools and methodologies that deliver tangible value for clients
including Google, Walmart, Bank of India, Syngenta, USPS, Marathon Oil, and The
Weather Channel.
Gitali has been invited to speak at industry forums, including Predictive Analytics World,
Conversion Conference, HP Big Data conference, and IIM-A Doctoral Colloquium. Her
work on HR analytics has also been published as a dedicated chapter in “Predictive
Analytics” by Eric Siegel, and as an opinion piece on The Wall Street Journal. In addition,
she taught Analytics course at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, India.
Gitali is currently a member of the Analytics Committee at the Interactive Advertising
Bureau Southeast and India.
