Nisarg Acharya is the Head, Commercial ( Marketing, Public Relations & Corporate Communication) at GIFT City Co. Ltd (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Co. Ltd.)- India’s 1st operational smart city and International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of International & diplomatic relations, marketing strategies, communications, branding and public relations, at this 1st of its kind project shaping in India. In his current assignment he had played important role in business development, strategic communications, brand positioning, marketing engagement & tie ups at International and National level. Being part of GIFT City project from inception, he has played important role in development of GIFT City taking it at Global level.
He has over 19+ years of professional experience in strategic marketing, communications, advertising, media positioning and business development with a strong background in media industry, telecommunications and now in development economic region/cluster and Urban Smart Cities (Business Districts). In his earlier assignments, he has worked with Bennet Coleman & Co. (Times of India Group) and Etech Inc. (AT&T/Bellsouth)
