RB Rajendar

RB Rajendar (RB) is the Head of Citi Analytics and Information Management (AIM), and
Site Head for the Citi Solutions Center (CSC), Bengaluru.
A veteran in the Data Analytics space with almost three decades of experience, RB has
dabbled in the global financial services industry across the Retail Banking, Wealth
Management, Research, Global Consumer Finance across Marketing, Risk, Collections and Operations
areas, both in India and the USA.
Among the first individuals in the domain when he began his career setting up the Analytics Center of
Excellence for GE, RB today helms the Citi AIM unit, a growing, specialist Analytics wing for the
international bank, with over 1000 employees. Prior to his current role, RB was associated with
multinationals such as Genpact, Fidelity Investments, and HSBC. Listed among the ‘10 Most Influential
Analytics and Data Science Leaders in India’, he made into the coveted list for adding value to
organizations as both, an Analytics maven and as a manager of people. More recently, RB was also
named ‘Exemplary 3AI Thought Leader’ at the 3AI Beyond 2023 event for his standing in the Analytics
and AI domain.
He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering Operations Research from the Mississippi State
University, USA, and a Bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of
Mysore, India.
RB’s family comprises his wife, Uma, and two daughters Vrinda and Shree. He enjoys travelling and
exploring new cultures with his family. Coming from a family of avid givers, RB is driven to contribute
widely to several destitute groups and towards educational causes, in the local community.
