Shanti Swaroop Mokkapati

Shanti is the Head of Advanced Analytics & Market Intelligence for Global Procurement at Abbott Labs. He has over 14 years of experience in Analytics & Strategy, Supply Chain & Procurement, and Project Management and has handled roles in the Industry as well as Consulting. Shanti’s growth in his professional career has strong connections to grassroots in multiple industries and functions. He began his career in a billion-dollar greenfield steel plant project at JSW Steel, wherein he has a patent filed during this time for automation. At JSW, he also worked in Corporate Strategy in Mr. Jindal’s office. He thereafter moved to Consulting wherein he worked with several global clients across industries on managing their spend and supply chain through analytics and category strategy as well as technology implementation. He has been on the 2019 Gartner Data and Analytics Conference Advisory Panel and has been a regular Speaker and on various panel discussions at Analytics Leadership summits and in some top Indian B Schools.
