Tarun is the Head of Technology – Automotive Accessories and Connected Solutions, at Toyota
Tsusho Asia Pacific, where he is responsible for technology and product strategy for connected
infotainment (IVI), data and services.
Tarun is a skilled product strategist who uses technology to transform strategic business plans into
successful solutions: with expertise in leading highly complex projects from conceptualization to
commercialization.
Tarun has spent more than a decade in the Automotive industry, engineering products that take
centre-stage in vehicle dashboards and directly affect use experience of vehicle owners on a daily
basis. In his product transformation journeys, Tarun has continuously used data & analytics at the
core of structuring and implementing strategies to improve product iterations and provide
immersive experiences, that elevate ownership experience of the product, and vehicle.
In his current role, Tarun focusses on a connected services strategy that not just elevates
experiences inside the car, but also weaves in elements of smart mobility to fulfil holistic
transportation needs of modern users.
